Hi! Callyann Brennan here on the Good New Day for QuarantineFM. In case you're wondering who I am, I'll give you a little insight to the girl behind the voice. I have always been a radio nerd from an early age and when I finished school I wanted to try to pressure this love of mine a little further. I studied presentation and performance stills, then radio production and finally landing myself a degree in media production management. I’ve been at this on air radio business since I was 17 starting on a training station FRQ where I met Tynan Hooper (who joins me on The Good News every Monday). We did a breakfast show and I had my own music show. I started to fall in love with Irish music past and up and coming and wanted to play a part in it. I started on RTÉ Pulse (still there) where I get to play loads of amazing Irish music from pop, R&B and rap. I love talking and I love people so interviewing and chatting to people is my absolute favourite thing about my job. I get to ask the questions I feel we all want heard and answered as well as having a laugh and learning about music. If you share the same love or just want to have a giggle for an hour and half, join me on QuarantineFM on Mondays and Fridays 10 - 11.30 am!
